Where Vault fits today
Try it if you want a private workspace alongside credentials, account-free local storage and a portable encrypted file. KeePassXC already offers a mature local-file workflow; Vault does not claim exclusive ownership of that approach. For production passkeys, mature mobile autofill or managed team services, the alternatives have a substantial head start.
